Why I Joined The Quick Start Challenge

Quick Start Challenge

A few weeks ago, as I was going through my email inbox, I read an email from Tiffany Lambert, affiliate marketer, coach, and blogger, for whom I have a lot of respect. She mentioned “a deal called The Quick Start Challenge.” In its sixth year, The Quick Start Challenge was, she wrote, “meant to be perfect for newbies and struggling people who need to learn the basics” on topics such as Laying the Foundations for long term success, List Building, Automated Income Generator, and Online Traffic.

Well, first of all, I was absolutely positive that I could spare $3 per week for this “series of 5 live coaching events.” Second, I love a challenge and especially one that might help me improve my online presence. It was really a no brainer! And so I clicked the link, and I enrolled in the Challenge.

So…. Let the Challenge begin!

Week One of the Quick Start Challenge

On Wednesday, September 12th, the Challenge began. It was an excitingly positive experience. I learned even more about the coaches, Dean Holland and Craig Crawford, two seasoned entrepreneurs with years of experience in training, coaching, and marketing.

Dean Holland provided hundreds of us with a step-by-step overview of the Challenge:

Step One.       Six-Figure Foundations
Step Two.       Income Streams
Step Three.    List Building Engine
Step Four.      Automated Income Machine
Step Five.       Online Traffic Rap

Here are my three t from Week One’s training:

Takeaway #1.   Success Strategies

Dean Holland discussed the importance of being committed to the process of learning and doing what it takes to have a real, successful business. He stressed the fact that success starts from within. Among those tips he gave us which are essential to our change and success were as follows:

Adopt a positive daily routine.
Listen to the correct advice or information.
Take action every day for at least sixty minutes.
Make sacrifices where they are needed.
Commit to doing whatever it takes.

“Productivity is never an accident.  It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.”   – Paul J. Meyer

Takeaway #2.   TM + EP = Faster Success

So many entrepreneurs become frustrated and give up because they think that building a business online is an easy task and that they will magically create a successful business overnight. Dean unequivocally stated that building a business online takes not only time but also the right knowledge, and he gave us a formula for success: TM + EP = Faster Success, Time Management + Effective Planning = Faster Success. We were also given a Time Planner.

Takeaway #3..  Your Foundation

Dean reminded us that people buy from those whom they know, like, and trust and that achieving this task definitely takes time. Therefore, said Holland, we need to lay a foundation, and we can begin by setting up a blog and sharing content on a regular basis. With that recommendation, he gave us suggestions as to what kinds of content we can post on the blog: text content, video content and/or audio content. We were also given access to tutorials to help us to set up our hosting, email account, blogs and more.

Challenge for Week One of the Quick Start

Our first challenge is threefold:

1.. Set up a blog.
2.  Create an About Me page (optional).
3.  Create one blog post which mentions “The Quick Start Challenge.”

With the Challenge for Week 1, there are no losers because everyone who creates a blog will win a prize. And one lucky person will have a chance to win the Certified Partner program which is worth $2,997!

I am excited, and I am looking forward to the Week Two!

To Your Success,

Patricia Reynolds
